<description>I haven&apos;t said much about Swaziland for a while. There are good things happening there but the dying continues. I am copying a letter I read on a blog from one of our First Year Missionaries currently in Swaziland. The letter is written by a 7th grade boy in the school where she is interning as a teacher.Life in Swaziland is hard - mixed with harsh realities including traditional witchcraft medicine. Here is what this boy Bonginkosi had to say when asked to write his own life story:

It&apos;s been a while since I&apos;ve written in my blog. Honestly since Christmas it&apos;s been hard to
know what to say. Lately I&apos;ve been
following the stories being written by some of our teams in Swaziland about a
baby named Moses. You can read more
about the sad story here and here.

One of the great things happening in our family is that
Josiah is getting married to Meredith the end of May. Also, Sam and Jill as well as Anna and Elliot

while I was there.

	I
could tell you about the day Marcia and I went to speak at an AIDS support

encourage each other in their struggle.

known as a rural homestead.
	&amp;nbsp; Usually, an
extended family will live on a homestead made up of between 5 and 20
acres.
	&amp;nbsp; Historically, the homestead was
the center of Swazi society.
	&amp;nbsp; Subsistence
farming and extended family living were central to the worship of ancestors and
governance from the local Chief who reports to the King.

Last week I met some people that changed me.

The rare kind where one is changed
genuinely.

	  The kind of change where
something deep inside in an area rarely accessed at least cognitively, is
touched - moved - shaken - changed.

Sometimes those changes are loud and wet and emotional and everyone
knows about it.

	  Other times there is a
profound minor degree - a minor shift of a personal cosmic universe
