That’s right – we’re going back to
Africa.
Again.
Our last trip went well and we stayed busy helping with a group of
people coming to see what is happening with orphans in
Africa.
We saw a lot of things and several of the
people are interested in getting more involved!
On this trip we will be helping again with orphan work and
also helping host several teams of people coming to serve.
During the month of June there will be 200
people from several different groups coming to
Swaziland!
That is a lot of people and there are a lot
of things planned for them- ministry all over the country, building a kitchen, feeding
a whole lot of kids, visiting the hospitals, and much more.
In addition to helping make all this happen we will be
working with some staff transitions.
We
will soon have 16 staff people on the ground in
Swaziland and there are a lot of
things to get arranged to make it all work!
Marcia will be working with a local missionary who is
holding a clinic two days a week.
We are
investigating the possibilities of having a medical clinic with the care points
we are trying to help.
In addition to Marcia and I, Josiah is coming as well.
Josiah will be working with the AIM teams,
helping them get started in their ministries, getting to know the culture, and
with some introductory language studies.
Josiah’s special friend Meredith will be joining us for July
and father Bert will come the last two weeks we are there.
It will be fun!
This time we will be leaving May 29 and returning home July
15.
We will value your prayers for all of us as we try to go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
